There is a time when Stratford sleeps. It comes after the trumpets sound; after the curtain goes up and dusk comes down. The hustle and bustle of the day is past; the night fog rolls in from the surrounding fields. The orange hue of the sodium street lights casts a fairytale pallor upon the sleeping city. The shadows of the night both beckoning and repelling.

Stratford @ Night is a unique photography project spanning 4 years and several thousand images of Stratford as it sleeps. Utilizing only available light, Stratford @ Night documents the experience of roaming Stratford's park system and neighbouring environs in the dead of night.

Stratford @ Night sweeps aside the sentimental gauze of the day, exposing the relentless hunger and the timeless still of the dead of night... the possibilities or the unthinkable, lurking around every corner.
